Helping Arizonans Quit Tobacco

ASHLine, Arizona Smokers’ Helpline, is a state-wide helpline to help people quit smoking. As of April 1, a new federal law went into effect increasing the tax on a pack of cigarettes by 62 cents per pack. Health officials hope the added cost will motivate people who want to quit and also want to make them aware of the free resources offered by the ASHLine.
