According to the American Cancer Society (ACS) one in six men will develop prostate cancer in his lifetime, while one in 20 people of both sexes will develop colorectal (colon) cancer.
But even with such startling statistics, there is plenty of hope. there are more than 2.5 million prostate cancer survivors in the U.S., cites ACS findings. And, thanks to advancing technology and regular screenings, more men and women are surving colon cancer than ever before.
