The was the first meeting in six years. The meeting kicked off with a presentation by Jason Marsee, brother of Sean Marsee who died of oral cancer complications at age 18 in 1982. There was also a memorial presentation for longtime anti-smoking advocate and Tucson native David Briick  who passed away this June.

The meeting included chronic disease updates from Pima County as well as the other partners in attendance. The highlight of the morning was the networking poster session presented by each county in attendance.
