Summer brings with it all sorts of outdoor activities – and e-cigarette marketing.
We’re looking for your photos of e-cigarette marketing and/or sponsorships at events in your community. Examples include festivals (music, arts, neighborhood), concerts, fairs, sporting events (e.g. auto racing), or any other public summertime events that occur in your area.
In addition, if you see other outrageous or unusual e-cigarette marketing – especially marketing geared towards kids (e.g. the Vaping Santa) – we’d like to see that, too. You might see this marketing in convenience stores, on billboards, at bus stops, on taxicabs or in newspapers or magazines.
Your images can help to make the case that e-cigarette marketing needs to be regulated. We may highlight some of the best images on our blog, social media channels and/or in other advocacy materials. (Note: by submitting your photos to us, you’re giving us permission to use them.)
Please email your submissions to firstname.lastname@example.org and include the following information:
- Your name and contact information
- Location of marketing (i.e. city and state)
- Date of photo
- Brief description/caption
High-resolution preferred. Please note if and how you’d like to be credited for the photo(s).
While we are currently focusing on finding images of e-cigarette marketing, please feel free to submit images of egregious marketing of other tobacco products that you see as well.
If you have any questions or need more information, please contact Catherine Butsch at the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, email@example.com. Please forward this information to your lists.
