Trevor G. Browne HS spends World No Tobacco Day in the Park
Youth Coalition has Community Fair in Local Park to support Smokefree Parks and Giving Up the Habit for Good

STAND Youth coalition members, local leaders, members of the community and vendors came together in El Oso Park in west Phoenix to celebrate World No Tobacco Day, an annual event to promote quitting and preventing tobacco use.

As part of the community fair the Youth Coalition participated in the City of Phoenix’s “Adopt a Park” program, and will engage in cleanup activities at the park.
STAND members receive a certificate as part of the “Adopt a Park” program from the City of Phoenix. Members will assist in the cleanup and maintenance of the park.
